I noticed a trend on Flickr with artists taking blurry shots of Christmas lights. Now that seems like a somewhat interesting thing to do, and once I looked I was quite surprised. There were actually a lot of photo’s done like this and I started to appreciate them more and more as I looked. These pictures I could actually see being sold as art, just stick them in a nice frame and you got yourself some unique Christmas portraits. The exposure one these looks like 1-3 seconds depending on the shot, definitely around 3 in the tunnel shot below.
