Yes, Wolverine in Hugh Jackman’s rendition is incredibly hot but the blue and yellow Halloween costume which is based on the cartoon is not. With bright blue boots that look like you just got off a ski lift, a bright yellow and blue one-piece with fake abs and a ridiculous yellow and black mask with little pointy ears, your only salvation is that maybe some people may not recognize you. Remember, Hugh Jackman yes, blue and yellow dweeb no.

Banana

Why anyone would want to dress up as a human size bright yellow fruit is beyond even the greatest minds in the world. Dressing up as a human banana is definitely not a good idea if you ever want to show your face in public again and will definitely not win you any brownie points with the girls. In fact some may think you are overcompensating for deficiencies in other departments.

He-Man

If going around in furry underpants and matching boots is your thing we have nothing against it, especially if you have the body to match, even if it is a rather odd choice. However, carrot colored wigs are definitely not something you should want to be seen in public with. If you really want to show off those pecs, next time try dressing up as a Chippendale. It will be cheaper and no one will wonder whether you have even started puberty yet.

Elvis

No, we have nothing against the King, in fact, we adore him. However we have a big thing against men who wear Elvis outfits that are sporting beer bellies larger than a nine month pregnant women and whose Halloween costumes are so tight they cause camel toe. Think about it, male camel toe, not something you want to see.

The walking vagina

Yes, we understand the male fascination with female genitalia, but do you really have to wear one from head to toe? This outfit takes the cake for most humiliating outfit and we can guarantee that anyone who decides to sport one will be avoided like the plague. Who wants to be seen talking to a vagina?

There are many more embarrassing Halloween costumes out there but these are just a few of the ones that caught our eye and nearly blinded us. If you do go on a hunt for embarrassing Halloween costumes we suggest wearing protective eye gear at the very least. In some cases even that may not be enough.

Gone are the days when people would drink three pots of cover over the course of the day to stay focused.  Here are the days of the energy drink and its 9 billion dollar industry.

The industry leads us to believe that by drinking these energy drink elixirs you will be given the ability to maintain your focus and be able to increase your productivity or your sports performance by leaps and bounds.  Unfortunately, the energy drink industry for the most part is fuelled by capitalism and not by your health.

For those of you who are hammering energy drinks, really take a step back and think about what you are putting into your body on a daily basis, these drinks could be potentially causing you long term health issues.

Ridiculous amount of Sugar

Have you ever taken a look how much sugar is in one can of Rockstar or Redbull?  The immense amount of sugar is responsible for many issues including elevated blood sugar, insulin spikes, weakening of the immune system as well as the onset of obesity.

Oh what is that you say? You are drinking the sugar free version? Well, you might not be getting fat, and you might not be wreaking havoc on your blood sugar levels, but it is no secret that there are long term side effects associated with Aspartame.  Have fun remembering your name when you hit 70!

Energy Crash

So you need a little energy to help get you through the day? What do you do, reach for your run of the mill can of Redbull or Rockstar and get a monster caffeine rush that lasts about an hour before you hit a wall.  Once you hit the peak of your caffeine buzz it is time to introduce yourself to the good old caffeine and sugar crash.

Your caffeine levels have tapered off and your blood sugar is so low your body is prepared to go into a diabetic coma.  Unless you are drinking an all natural healthy energy drink like Xowii, this is the point where you either need to pound back another glass of caffeinated sugar or allow your productivity to crash with your energy levels.

Makes you wonder if energy drinks are really the answer for all your productivity needs huh?

Got Meth Anybody?

Everybody loves a meth junky right? Well thats what most people act like after consuming 200mg or more of caffeine.  While not all energy drinks have 200mg of caffeine, many of the newer drinks are pushing the limits on caffeine, and for the most part, people are not going to want anything to do with a bumbling idiot who is talking two million words per minute.

Anxiety

Ever wonder why your girlfriend’s mom really pisses you off after a long day full of energy drinks?  Well my friend, chances are you are experiencing anxiety which after awhile causes every last little thing to piss you off.  Also, anxiety causes every last little thing to build up in the back of your mind until you are ready to either explode from anger or have a nervous breakdown due to your mentally exaggerated stress.

Caffeine Withdrawals

So your week starts out with a couple Red Bulls and ends with a case of Xenergy drinks with 200mg+ of caffeine per can.  After your high performance week, along comes the weekend which is supposed to be down time.  Instead of being able to relax on your couch and chill like a normal human being, a nasty headache takes the place of down time.  After a five day streak of pounding back half a gram of caffeine a day, your body isn’t ready to call it quits.  For you my friend, it means your head shall be pounding all day until you find that sweet sweet can of Full Throttle to guzzle.  Sweet, we have energy again, I guess we should just keep the fridge fully stocked full of energy drinks for the weekends since you are now officially an addict.

I’ve personally tried quitting coffee a few times, and let me tell you it is actually pretty hard, I can’t imagine having to quit the caffeine demons that are energy drinks.

Glow in the Dark Piss

I’m not sure if this one is really a bad thing or actually kind of cool, but after pounding back a few cans of energy drink, your body has no use for all the excess Vitamin B you’ve just consumed so in order to get it out of your body you will find your self with some very interesting neon yellow glow in the dark piss. If you are lucky it might also smell like ammonia.. but that is the cherry on top.

Before I close down this article, I should let you know that I was a pretty heavy energy drink users for years.  Three Rockstar Energy drinks a day was nothing short of normal for me.  While I can’t throw stones while living in a glass house, I’ve switched my addiction from energy drinks to Coffee.  Hopefully a few cups of coffee is never found to causes colon cancer or something or I guess I’m screwed.  Good luck on quitting energy drinks!

I noticed a trend on Flickr with artists taking blurry shots of Christmas lights. Now that seems like a somewhat interesting thing to do, and once I looked I was quite surprised. There were actually a lot of photo’s done like this and I started to appreciate them more and more as I looked. These pictures I could actually see being sold as art, just stick them in a nice frame and you got yourself some unique Christmas portraits. The exposure one these looks like 1-3 seconds depending on the shot, definitely around 3 in the tunnel shot below.

Until recently, I was all about the goats, and gave no other animal the time of day when it came to being funny.  This all changed today when I spent a good hour going through all the absolutely hilarious sheep videos on youtube.  Sheeps burp, fart, poop on camera, but the funniest part about sheep is that they think they are bad ass tough guys.  I’ve got a blend of sheep burping, to  sheep humping to straight up sheep tough guy’ism.  So turn up your speakers, and sit back and enjoy the hilarity that ensues within these funny sheep videos.

If you’ve seen the classic movie Ben-Hur you may remember the scene where they race in chariots pulled by horses. So, why not create something fun to do with the whales? Driving around on a boat chariot hauled by a trained whale would be incredibly eco-friendly. Not to mention fun, up until your whale is targeted by a school of pissed off sharks. By attaching a large leash to the whale (in a safe, humane way, of course) you could harness the power of the beast fueled on smaller fish. Just feed your whale and you should be good. Off to the races!

2. Whale Watching

Yes, there is an extreme difference in the adrenaline pumping sport of whale racing when compared to whale watching, but hell - not everyone is completely capable of hanging onto that watery bronco. Whale watching can actually be kind of soothing, as you listen in on their calls of “kill anything that looks like a boat”. Yeah, it’s kind of a sleeper sport, but you might see some crazy underwater battles (but the likelihood of that is about a 3% chance, I’m guessing). For Victoria whale watching, you can see some fat Orcas. Personally, they were cooler when they were known as “killer whales”.

3. Become “Whale Whisperers”

A more safe, and perhaps lucrative business alternative to slaughtering whales would be turning those big mothers into pets. Everyone knows pets have problems. That’s why there are specialists that can “talk some sense into your pet”, and if Dogs are a big part of people’s problems, then I’m sure whales would be quite cumbersome. Forget scratched furniture and chewed up shoes, good luck trying to ever have another bath in your apartment. If Cesar Millan can bank his life fortune on the insecurities of human beings interacting with their dogs, think about how many people would fail at raising a whale!

4. Whale Tweets

Whales usually talk a bunch when they’re swimming around. They also eat a lot. So why not let researchers and the internet itself know when a whale eats, swims around in circles, or farts? Hook up a twitter account and that whale is guaranteed to not be turned into some delicious sushi. Figuratively known as the “Fail Whale“, these tweeting whales would provide entertainment for the world.

5. Fancy Whale Fashions

Alright this may be stretching it a bit, but if dogs can get sweet goggles, and if cats can get fake fingernails and “people” clothes, and horses getting shoes… it just makes sense that whales should look good. Maybe some shorts or hats to kick it off. Whale fashion shows could be held on giant slip and slides and end up back in the ocean. Only problem is the whales might be a little pissed off when scuba divers go down to remove the fashion garments for re-sale. You ever tried fighting an Orca for his fedora? Didn’t think so.

6. Using Blowholes for (Balloon) Inflation

In a pinch, a whale could just breathe and inflate balloons. Simply load a whale into a dunk tank and hook balloons up to that sucker. A hit at birthday parties, and generally awesome - this could be the next big thing in whale innovation. Also, I know what you’re all thinking when I said “use their blowholes”. Shame on you.

So today, I spent a good hour digging around Youtube, checking out some of the most amazing Christmas lights spectacles I could find. I was thinking I’d probably find a few houses that had 20,000 lights or so and power bills the size of most families monthly incomes, but to my surprise I was blown away by actual animated LED Christmas light shows.

Around here, the people with a billion static lights get all the attention, but on the Internet is where the real Christmas light freaks catch their fifteen minutes of fame. These people have not only completely drenched their houses with tens of thousands of LED Christmas lights, they’ve also used a computer to animate them so they dance in tune with music.

Some of these videos date back to 2007, so before you comment that some of these are old, not every single person walking the planet watched every video on youtube.

It is no secret that New York City is one of the most expensive cities in the world to visit. If your trip is unplanned, you will definitely find yourself burning through a lot of cash, however if you spend a little time planning in advance, you can make New York a fun affordable city that you will never forget.

New York Hostels

Whenever I have gone to New York in the past, my number one largest expense has always been my accommodations. Your average hotel in Manhattan will run you around $400 a night. That is $2800 for a seven night trip, which in my opinion is absolutely outrageous. If you are willing to share a room at a New York Hostel, you can land a bed for as little as $20 a night. Seven nights at $20 a night is only $140 leaving you $2660 that you could spend on enjoying the city instead of sleeping in an average private hotel room. If privacy is important to you, most New York Hostels offer private rooms as well for less than $100 a night.

New York Subway

There is absolutely no point in renting a car while in NYC. The price to park anywhere is absolutely ludacris. By the time you consider parking passes, gas, mileage and the initial price to rent a car you will have been able to buy 50-100 subway passes. If the Subway isn’t your cup of tea, taking a taxi in New York is actually very reasonable.

New York Bus Tour

There are numerous Bus Tours in New York. I would suggest going to time square and purchasing a three day pass from one of the street sales men. Not only is the tour an amazing time, you can use the Bus to stop off in other places of New York such as Greenwich. You can hop back on any other tour bus at any time as it goes all over the city. The only down side to hopping on the tour bus is there is a pre-determined route that you have to stick to, so if you are in a rush you may want to just take a taxi.

Hole in the Wall Pubs

New York is well known for its intense night life. Unfortunately to enjoy the fancy night life means you are going to be spending big bucks. While the premium night clubs will cost you a fortune on cover and drinks there are hundreds of little pubs that won’t kill your pocket book. When you walk around take note of the different pubs and check if they have any specials; it is actually pretty fun to bounce between all the different pubs at night and it costs a LOT less than your average night club.

Street Vendors

If you love food, you probably couldn’t find a better city than New York City. New York is chalk full of fine dining restaurants. You can find fine dining restaurants catering to just about any form of ethnic food. Just like night clubs or hotels, eating at these restaurants daily can really add up. If you really love food, what I would recommend doing is booking a few reservations at some of the fine dining restaurants then laying low on your other days. There are hundreds of street vendors and delis that offer some absolutely amazing fast food at a fraction of the cost of the designer restaurants. 99 Cent slices of pizza are everywhere, giant pastrami sandwiches are overflowing into the streets; all you have to do is walk up to a street vendor and walk away with a huge meal for less than $5. While these meals might not be the healthiest, if your main goal is to save money, you will definitely be walking away with a bargain.

These are just a few of the things I like to do to help me save money when I go to New York City. If you are really smart you can get away with having a fantastic vacation while spending a lot less than most travelers. To save money, You just need to pre-plan your adventure!

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard dudes tell me they wish they could have the build Brad Pitt is rocking in Fight Club.  And ladies, I have heard many envious comments wishing you had but any part of Angelina Jolie attached to your feminine physique.

Last I checked Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were sporting something ridiculous like ten children.  I’m not sure if you’ve ever babysat more than two kids at one time, but I don’t think there is anything more exhausting than chasing a bunch of brats around the house who are most likely teaming up against you.

Dodging the Paparazzi

While being famous has lots of perks it also has its negative sides.  Being chased around and constantly photographed by the Papparazi can have a huge toll on your physical and mental health.  A lot of times stars like Brad and Angelina are forced to make mad dash sprints from their Hummer limosines to their destination.  In case you didn’t know, running 12 miles per hour will burn about 1875 calories in an hour for a 185 lbs man.

High Intensity Movies

The couple has been known to play action packed rolls.  This requires a lot of training as well as a lot of exertion while filming the actual movie.  Mr and Mrs Smith, Tomb Raider and Fight Club are just a few of the couples action packed flicks that required them to be in tip top shape.  Maybe the rest of us should find a profession that will pay us to actually look good?

The 80’s made two things popular.  Racquetball and Cocaine.  Cocaine stuck around and racquetball kind of got the shaft.  It doesn’t mean its not an awesome sport.  Imagine staring at Angelina Jolie’s ass as she’s bent over waiting for you to return her serve.  Brad and Angelina have been known to play a few high paces games of Racquetball throughout the week good for at least 800 calories per hour.

Shopping For Things We Can’t Afford

When you make twenty million dollars per movie  you have a lot of cash burning a giant hole in your pocket. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spend a lot of time gallivanting around high end stores that the regular person can’t afford.  While walking doesn’t burn too many calories it all adds up and even just spending an hour leisurely shopping will melt off about 333 of those fat ass calories.

Not sure what Bikram Yoga is? That is because you aren’t trendy!  Bikram Yoga is basically yoga in an extremely hot room.  Brad and Angelina love to do just about anything where they get hot and sweaty together and aside from sex, not much will get you as wet as Bikram Yoga.  A few times a week, they roll out their high end LuLu Lemon Yoga gear and head to the local private Bikram Yoga spa to get their stretch and sweat on. An hour long session of Bikram Yoga will burn up around 575 calories of hard earned food!

Rock Star Humping aka Marathon Sex

The one thing that Angelina has never kept from the media is that she is a freak in the sack.  If you are able to keep things together for an hour, the average 185 lb male will burn about 355 calories in an hour.  How much more satisfying would that be than a treadmill?

Deep Fried Fish Tacos

We were so close to actually eating healthy with these fish tacos, but we figured it wouldn’t have been very American of us.  So of course we broke out the deep fryer and made sure that fish was nicely battered before submerging it in bubbling hot lard.

Deep Fried Salmon

No matter how hard I try, I can’t leave something that is naturally healthy, such as Salmon and leave it healthy.  In this case, we battered the living hell out of these beautiful Salmon filets and let them bubble in my deep fryer long enough to kill off any health benefits.  Delicious.
