9 Army Costumes To Recognize Our Soldiers

Every day there are thousands of men and women who risk their lives on the front line to try and make this world a better place. They do this to provide us with a safe and happy place to live where we have the freedom to do the things we love without having somebody telling us what we can and can’t do.

As a tribute to these people who risk there lives, and for the thousands of soldiers who have lost their lives trying to protect our freedom, I have compiled a bunch of awesome Army Halloween costumes.

I know Halloween is a little far away still, but when you consider your Halloween costume this year, lets recognize our troops and rock out with our army gear on!

Some Radical Interior Designs Lie Herein

A gem in the form of “Stylish 3D Interior Designs” on Template.com’s Blog not too long ago. The introduction was kind of convoluted and wordy but once you get into the actual art, you will be blown away. If you’re just about to renovate something, anything, this is a great source of inspiration.

Not only are the rooms and furniture beautiful but, for the most part, they look really liveable. Nothing stresses me out more than clutter so these places look awesome to me. Even if you like a little more “lived in” look for your abode, you have to appreciate the art that goes into such exquisite interior design.

Hard Ticket to Hawaii Death Scene

In what is to be probably the worst death scene in all action film history, a pair of mean end up killing a skateboarder and his blowup doll as they fly through the air by launching a couple rockets at them. I really couldn’t stop laughing after i saw this ridiculous piece of cinema, if it can be called that.

Needing to know more, I dug into this movie called “Hard Ticket to Hawaii” written and directed by Andy Sidaris. It is widely considered to be one of the worst movies of all time and it has the production quailty of pornography of the same era. It seems that Andy Sidaris kind of had a knack for creating the God awful masterpieces and he made a living out of it and even has a steady cult following. This garbage has a 2.9 on IMDB and people either seem to love it or hate it. I think that the best part of the movie is right here and there’s no reason to waste a couple hours of your life on this.

The Hawaii Chair

I really think it’s a shame that a product this ridiculous is named after my gorgeous state. Unfortunately, there is no copyrighting names of places and the Hawaii Chair was born. Essentially, the chair has a seat that rotates in a way that, if you happened to be sitting on it, your hips move in a circular motion similar to the hula dance, or hoop if that helps you out more.

I can’t imagine having to deal with a coworker riding one of these things every day. It would just get on my nerves. Not just actually watching them go around in circles looking ridiculous but because they would be pretending there wasn’t anything weird going on. I would go crazy. Angels Costumes – Who said Angels Were Innocent

Call me a pig, call me whatever you like, but there is something strangely interesting about a girl that takes a very innocent costume and makes it ridiculously filthy. Alright, it doesn’t have to be filthy to be sexy, but it sure doesn’t hurt!

For this example, we will use the Angel costume.  Typically when you think of angles, you think of very innocent beings from above.  Angels are sent down to look over us and protect us from the devils evil doers.  Well, what if we took angels and put a bit of an evil spin on them?

How do you feel about sexy girls dressed in angel outfits? Love them? Then you will love what I’ve got for you!

Holy crap, that last one was something special.  That is one angel I’d love to bring home to mom, then promptly return her to where she belongs, in my bed!

Angels aren’t the only type of costume you can make sexy, why not try putting a sexy spin on superhero costumes? If super heroes aren’t your thing and wouldn’t mind being something kind of like an angel, try cranking up the sexy on a little Tinkerbell action. If you want to go with something tried and true, nothing quite spells late night fun like a traditional nurse costume, especially with an extra short mini skirt.

I’ve never heard anybody complain about sexy cheerleader costumes. Hell, you could recycle a cheerleader costume for a number of different events, wink wink nudge nudge! OK, one last suggestion for the girl who wants to use her one day of the year where she can dress as sexy as she wants without being judged…. 3 words.. FRENCH MAID COSTUME!  I’m sorry guys, next to the angel costume, the French maid costume has me going gaga.
Whatever it is you choose, remember that just about anything can be turned sexy with a little more cleavage and a little less skirt

LuxTouch: The Most Expensive Flooring Ever!

I have been going over my flooring upgrades for my condo over the past two months, so I’ve had flooring on the brain. Pietra Firma decided that the current range of high quality flooring products was sub-par, so here we go with their LuxTouch line of very expensive tiles. How expensive? LuxTouch sells for a jaw dropping $1,000,000/m2…..WTF!

Now that’s some pretty stunning flooring I suppose. You’d have to be a pretty big douche-bag to decorate your luxury home with this. I can see all the sick and dying children of the world just gasping in horror when they find out this sort of shit goes on. Regardless, this is the way the world works so I will admire it from an artistic point of view. For my condo, I’m just going to go with the classic two choices of either hardwood flooring or laminate flooring to coat my humble abode.

So there your have it! I’d love to hear what some of you folks think about the flooring both on the ground and on the walls! If anyone else was lead here due to some obscure flooring quest of their own then I offer your some of my own research thus far. Sexy Zombies Want Your Brains

While Zombies will be parading around the streets come the Easter weekend we thought it was high time to see some sexy zombies. A lot of work goes into some of these costumes so I cannot help but admire some of the cuties who come out for these meets. Not everyone has the time and dedication to dress up so well and show it off within a group of other walking dead. I am however looking forward to the sexy, gory, crazy and whatever other zombie outfits we’ll see this year.

This is the one time of the few times a year you can dress up in a Halloween costume and run around all crazy during the daylight hours. Sadly, out here in Vancouver we don’t necessarily have the weather for super hot, scantily clad zombie babes to be showing off. There is something about a girl who’ll go to these great lengths, hell, you might even say these girls are what you’d want to bring home to Mom.

I have always been incredibly fascinated with the way that sports arena’s can transform from one thing to another in a matter of hours. This video shows you how the crew at the Toyota Center in Kennewick converts the arena from an ice hockey rink to a hardwood floor mecca for the Harlem Globetrotters in just twelve hours. Animals Love/Hate Relationship With Hardwood Floors

I’ve lived in my current condo for only a few months now, and my cat is still getting used to the hardwood floors. His claws are freshly cut, and he’s used to romping around a place with carpet. Needless to say he’s having a hard time escaping my clutches which normally isn’t a hard things to do.  I’m unfortunately short on a lovely little HD camera to capture those moments so I’ve wrangled up some goodies from Youtube. I hope the content makes up for the lack of writing I’ve been able to do.

I definitely won’t forget the first experience my once young and innocent cat first experienced a romp on some hardwood floors. This little guy isn’t sure at all on how to keep from slipping on this very glossy hardwood. It will take a bit before this kitten learns to grow some wound inducing claws to find its traction during a chase.  I think I’ll let my cat grow his claws out a bit just so he doesn’t get too fat.

This next little bit will be familiar with some, so props to you, and the rest will come to know kitten mittens. There’s a little well known show called It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia in which they come up with this ingenious invention. Some of you may not find this too funny, but I assure you, no kitties were hurt in the making of this film. I still wouldn’t do this to my fat little fur ball, especially on a table! If you’re a cat lover you’ll enjoy Charlie Day from the show who has more than a few interesting battles with cats. The humor is quite a bit more on the 18-30 somethings male crowd with also more than enough potty humor, so be warned on that front.

Some dogs just adapt to their surroundings so well, and the next video is a prime example of supreme and fancy foot work. My friends always bring their dogs by which and they’re no where near as good running around hardwood like this white fluffball.

How many dog owners have swung their pooch around their hardwood floors, or at least I was pleased to know others do it as well. I have no idea how bad this is for the floors, I know for sure cheaper hardwood will eventually lose the battle to a decent sized dogs claws.

Halloween Costumes and Suicide Bombers

What do Halloween costumes and suicide bombers have in common? Simple, some Halloween costumes are so embarrassing that it’s the only job you will ever get after being seen in public. So, we suggest you think long and hard before making the same mistake as other people who chose to wear the following ridiculously humiliating outfits. We still don’t understand why they did it unless someone put a gun to their head.

Wolverine

Yes, Wolverine in Hugh Jackman’s rendition is incredibly hot but the blue and yellow Halloween costume which is based on the cartoon is not. With bright blue boots that look like you just got off a ski lift, a bright yellow and blue one-piece with fake abs and a ridiculous yellow and black mask with little pointy ears, your only salvation is that maybe some people may not recognize you. Remember, Hugh Jackman yes, blue and yellow dweeb no.

Banana

Why anyone would want to dress up as a human size bright yellow fruit is beyond even the greatest minds in the world. Dressing up as a human banana is definitely not a good idea if you ever want to show your face in public again and will definitely not win you any brownie points with the girls. In fact some may think you are overcompensating for deficiencies in other departments.

He-Man

If going around in furry underpants and matching boots is your thing we have nothing against it, especially if you have the body to match, even if it is a rather odd choice. However, carrot colored wigs are definitely not something you should want to be seen in public with. If you really want to show off those pecs, next time try dressing up as a Chippendale. It will be cheaper and no one will wonder whether you have even started puberty yet.

Elvis

No, we have nothing against the King, in fact, we adore him. However we have a big thing against men who wear Elvis outfits that are sporting beer bellies larger than a nine month pregnant women and whose Halloween costumes are so tight they cause camel toe. Think about it, male camel toe, not something you want to see.

The walking vagina

Yes, we understand the male fascination with female genitalia, but do you really have to wear one from head to toe? This outfit takes the cake for most humiliating outfit and we can guarantee that anyone who decides to sport one will be avoided like the plague. Who wants to be seen talking to a vagina?

There are many more embarrassing Halloween costumes out there but these are just a few of the ones that caught our eye and nearly blinded us. If you do go on a hunt for embarrassing Halloween costumes we suggest wearing protective eye gear at the very least. In some cases even that may not be enough.
